The Test Team helps manage testing and triage across the WordPress ecosystem. They focus on user testing of the editing experience and WordPress dashboard, replicating and documenting bug reports, and supporting a culture of review and triage across the project.

If you’d like to help test Full Site Editing, please join the FSE Outreach Program. You can find current calls for testing for this program here and you can join the fun in #fse-outreach-experiment.

The team gathers in #core-test. Please drop by any time with questions or to help out.

        Changing my password, iPhone 6+

Starting on the front page, I visit my profile, change my password, and return to the front page.

        4.3-beta2-33183

        See #32589.

Start on the front page. Tap the avatarAvatar An avatar is an image or illustration that specifically refers to a character that represents an online user. It’s usually a square box that appears next to the user’s name. in the toolbar.
        Tap Edit My Profile
        Scroll down.

        Tap Generate new password.
What happens if I tap Go? Let’s find out. Tap Go.
Form submitted. Profile updated. The iCloud keychain is offering to Update. This could be considered really quick and convenient, or startling. If you don’t use iCloud keychain and instead using 1Password or LastPass, this can catch you unawares. The clipboard did not have a copy of the generated password so I don’t have a way to update the password in 1Password. Anyhow, tap Update Password.

The notice has the generic Profile updated message. Given the anxiety of changing a password, should a message specific to changing the password be shown? Maybe link to password recovery info. Tap the Home icon in the toolbar.
        Back where we started.

Scroll bleed through in the session expired log in modal, iPhone 5

Another case of bad scrolling behind a modal.

The WordPress logo headerHeader The header of your site is typically the first thing people will experience. The masthead or header art located across the top of your page is part of the look and feel of your website. It can influence a visitor’s opinion about your content and you/ your organization’s brand. It may also look different on different screen sizes. is a great, big link. When dismissing things like autocomplete suggestions, I often tap away into the header. The resulting redirect is bewildering and unexpected. With the keyboard up, half of the view of the log in page is a link directing away from log in.
