These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory https://wordpress.org/plugins/ or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party modules into core. This often requires adjustments to the original code as developed for the plugin, as well as bug fixes and the addition of new functionality for the feature project in core.
  2. Identifying and addressing performance-related issues that are not part of Performance Lab modules via TracTrac Trac is the place where contributors create issues for bugs or feature requests much like GitHub.https://core.trac.wordpress.org/. tickets

All performance-related Trac tickets should be tagged with the performance focus.

Performance Trac tickets

The Performance team conducts monthly bug scrubs of performance-focused Trac tickets, mainly focused on tickets that have been tagged with the milestone of the upcoming core release.

If you’d like to discuss next steps for a performance Trac ticket with the Team, feel free to attend one of our weekly chats and share the ticket in the Open Floor section of the chat.
