What’s new on Learn WordPress in August 2023

In August 2023, the Training team published the following resources on Learn WordPress.

Courses

While no new courses were published this month, applications to join the first course cohort were opened, with 64 people applying to join.

Selected applicants will be learning to develop their first WordPress BlockBlock Block is the abstract term used to describe units of markup that, composed together, form the content or layout of a webpage using the WordPress editor. The idea combines concepts of what in the past may have achieved with shortcodes, custom HTML, and embed discovery into a single consistent API and user experience. over the course of 6 weeks, starting on September 4th. The cohort includes weekly synchronous social learning times, as well as asynchronous self-guided learning material.
