Here are some important updates from the Training Team!
- 🏫 BlockBlock Block is the abstract term used to describe units of markup that, composed together, form the content or layout of a webpage using the WordPress editor. The idea combines concepts of what in the past may have achieved with shortcodes, custom HTML, and embed discovery into a single consistent API and user experience. Theme Development Course Cohort Learning Pathway Development – We’re planning a cohort-based learning program focused on Block Theme Development, and before turning it into a full course, we want to build the learning pathway together with the community. - 🏕️ Workshops are live again: Thanks to our colleagues @devmuhib and @sumitsingh, we finished four workshops in February –
- 🖼️ Collaboration with WP Campus Connect project: Weekly Campus Connect Office Hours are now taking place in the#campusconnect SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/. channel. This time is dedicated to current and potential organizers to ask questions about upcoming events and exchange experiences.

We held 4 Training Team meetings. Weekly meetings continued to be facilitated by team reps. We also decided to put the Coffee Hour on hold until further notice. You can read the meeting recap notes on the Training Team blog.
