Learning Pathways on Learn WordPress
Relaunching Learn WordPress with a new information architecture and design, with content focused on specific learning pathways, is the biggest goal and project for the Training Team in 2024. Other Projects
- The team continued its new Contributor Spotlight post series, celebrating Training Team Contributors! Come read about Nadia Maya Ardiani and Tracy Rhodes.
- The team brainstormed and published Training Team Goals for 2024.
- Discussion: Training’s contribution to the 6.5 release (and beyond) considered the team’s priority of creating learning pathways this year, and considered how to balance that with continuing to provide release-related content also.
- Training Team Faculty submitted their yearly survey responses again. Faculty Survey Results – Q1 2024 show the team is starting the year off with 27 faculty members, and we’re always looking for new applicants.
- Discussion: Translation Plugin on Learn – Come share your experience working with translation plugins as the team seeks to find an interim solution for the next few years.
Learn GitHubGitHub GitHub is a website that offers online implementation of git repositories that can easily be shared, copied and modified by other developers. Public repositories are free to host, private repositories require a paid subscription. GitHub introduced the concept of the ‘pull request’ where code changes done in branches by contributors can be reviewed and discussed before being merged be the repository owner. https://github.com/ Repository Status
