Online Workshops are free live events that cover a wide variety of topics relating to WordPress. These are safe spaces where attendees can ask questions, exchange theories, and develop new ideas. You can sign up to an upcoming Online Workshop, or watch a recording!

Projects
In addition to creating content, the Training Team also work on projects to advance the Learn WordPress site’s presence in the WordPress community. Here are projects the team worked on in December
- Project Thread: Learning Pathways on Learn WordPress – We continue to make positive strides in this project and are now focused on the Learn website redesign.
- Recap: GitHub updates and process refinements – Updates have concluded, and we ran 2 online workshops to share about the updates and discuss how to use GitHubGitHub GitHub is a website that offers online implementation of git repositories that can easily be shared, copied and modified by other developers. Public repositories are free to host, private repositories require a paid subscription. GitHub introduced the concept of the ‘pull request’ where code changes done in branches by contributors can be reviewed and discussed before being merged be the repository owner. https://github.com/ with the Training Team.
- Contributor Spotlight: Laura Adamonis – we kicked off our Contributor Spotlight series wherein we interview and celebrate Training Team Contributors.
- Meet your 2024 Training Team Representatives – Our 2024 Team Reps have been selected! @lada7042, @bsanevans, and @piyopiyofox will be this year’s co-reps.
- Hosting Learn videos on YouTube – We made a monumental shift in how we display or video content on Learn by adopted Youtube embeds.
