Overview

GutenbergGutenberg The Gutenberg project is the new Editor Interface for WordPress. The editor improves the process and experience of creating new content, making writing rich content much simpler. It uses ‘blocks’ to add richness rather than shortcodes, custom HTML etc. https://wordpress.org/gutenberg/ releases:
- 17.1.0 RC1 released on Nov 16th.
- 🏁 17.0.2 released on Nov 13th.
6.4 minor releases:
- Core Trac: 12 tickets either in 6.4.2 milestone or marked as 6.4 being the version that introduced the issue.
- Gutenberg: 12 PRs merged into the wp/6.4 branch.
6.5 major release:
- Current development phase: Early Alpha.
- Bug scrubs: held on Nov 14th.
- Core Trac:
  - 17 commits (-6 from last week).
  - 195 open tickets (+21 from last week):
    - 115 defects / bugs.
    - 80 enhancements, feature requests, and blessed tasks.
  - 8 early tickets (no change from last week).
