Projects
In addition to creating content, the Training Team also works on projects to advance the Learn WordPress site’s presence in the WordPress community. Here are projects the team worked on in April
- Recap: Content Localization Foundations Project – 28 volunteers created 36 pieces of localized content across 10 locales.
- Individual Learning Survey for the Needs Analysis – Assess the community’s learning needs to focus future content creation efforts on high-impact material. We are in the midway of creating a report.
- Developments and Customizations for Training and Learn Website – Proposing custom GutenbergGutenberg The Gutenberg project is the new Editor Interface for WordPress. The editor improves the process and experience of creating new content, making writing rich content much simpler. It uses ‘blocks’ to add richness rather than shortcodes, custom HTML etc. https://wordpress.org/gutenberg/ blocks for meeting recap notes, faculty meetings, onboarding posts, etc. This will help to speed up adding/editing the content part.
- Creating Learning Pathways for Learn WordPress – Proposal submitted on Learning pathways. Basically, they are a structured sequence of educational experiences or courses that are designed to help individuals acquire knowledge and skills in a specific field or discipline.
- Introduction to WordPress Development syllabus – This course includes all the topics relevant to the beginner WordPress developer.
