Core Performance Team Update – December 22, 2022

Performance Lab

Performance Lab plugin updates are released monthly on the third Monday of the month.

December’s release, v1.8.0, included two new modules: a new experimental SQLite integration module (see call for testers here) as well as a new experimental `fetchpriority` module, which adds the `fetchpriority` attribute of `high` to the LCP (or first large) image on a page to improve the page’s LCP. It also includes the implementation of the `Server-Timing` API into the plugin’s infrastructure.
