Highlights for the last two weeks:

  • BlockBlock Block is the abstract term used to describe units of markup that, composed together, form the content or layout of a webpage using the WordPress editor. The idea combines concepts of what in the past may have achieved with shortcodes, custom HTML, and embed discovery into a single consistent API and user experience. Editor: Shipped the slash inserter, support for building in Xcode 12.5, working hard on upgrading to ReactReact React is a JavaScript library that makes it easy to reason about, construct, and maintain stateless and stateful user interfaces.   • Full Site Editing: Reordered the categories in the page layout, and made some changes to the page templates.
  • Other projects: On Android, we’ve shipped several optimizations to handle large text.
  • Infrastructure: Wrapped up the Bintray to S3 migrationMigration Moving the code, database and media files for a website site from one server to another.
