Highlights for the last two weeks:
- BlockBlock Block is the abstract term used to describe units of markup that, composed together, form the content or layout of a webpage using the WordPress editor. The idea combines concepts of what in the past may have achieved with shortcodes, custom HTML, and embed discovery into a single consistent API and user experience. Editor/Full Site Editing: We’ve updated the Separator block to extend to the edges, and added support for background and text color in the Group, Paragraph, and Quote blocks.
- Other Projects: We added categories to the pre-publishing sheet and we fixed a lot of bugs all over the apps.
- Infrastructure: We investigated existing issues with localization in WordPress iOS and GlotPress tooling, and we made numerous tooling fixes and updates for localization, build issues, and more.
