# Design team update March 6th

On Wednesday the team [met](https://make.wordpress.org/design/2020/03/04/design-meeting-notes-for-4-march-2020/)
at the usual time of 19:00 UTC. Tuesday saw triage run also in [#design](https://make.wordpress.org/updates/tag/design/).
The week before saw 2 triages and a [weekly meeting](https://make.wordpress.org/design/2020/02/27/design-meeting-notes-for-29-january-2020-2/).

This coming week will see both triage sessions trying something a little different.
Each will have a ‘live’ zoom link, also recorded for viewing later. The idea is
that they will be teaching sessions so others can learn how to run triages.

 * CoreCore Core is the set of software required to run WordPress. The Core Development
Team builds WordPress. triage: Monday 17:30 UTC
 * GutenbergGutenberg The Gutenberg project is the new Editor Interface for WordPress.
The editor improves the process and experience of creating new content, making
writing rich content much simpler. It uses ‘blocks’ to add richness rather than
   shortcodes, custom HTML etc. [https://wordpress.org/gutenberg/](https://wordpress.org/gutenberg/)
   triage: Tuesday 17:00 UTC

### Discussion

 * Catch up with the latest in [Gutenberg design here](https://make.wordpress.org/design/2020/02/21/gutenberg-phase-2-friday-design-update-45/).
 * There is a point for feedback on this week’s notes about shifting the time for
daylight saving. Have your say in the comments.

#### Calls for involvement

 * Gutenberg continues to need people to [give feedback](https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/labels/Needs%20Design%20Feedback)
   and create [designs](https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/labels/Needs%20Design).
 * The about page needs [help iterating](https://make.wordpress.org/design/2020/02/21/iterating-the-about-page/).
 * A call has been made for volunteers to run triage sessions.

If you are having a WordCampWordCamp WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences

community comes together to teach one another what they’ve learned throughout the
year and share the joy. [Learn more](https://central.wordcamp.org/about/). that
has a design contribution table, please reach out in [#design](https://make.wordpress.org/updates/tag/design/)
