Highlights for the last two weeks:

  • BlockBlock Block is the abstract term used to describe units of markup that, composed together, form the content or layout of a webpage using the WordPress editor. The idea combines concepts of what in the past may have achieved with shortcodes, custom HTML, and embed discovery into a single consistent API and user experience. Editor: New image block size options. Better retry feature on image blocks, fixed link button on rich text, and emoji in post titles.
  • Full Site Editing: New block shipped: Button. Support for gallery uploads. New block navigation toolbar.
  • Other Projects: Added a search box to help users find a parent page in page settings.
