Highlights for the last two weeks:

  • BlockBlock Block is the abstract term used to describe units of markup that, composed together, form the content or layout of a webpage using the WordPress editor. The idea combines concepts of what in the past may have achieved with shortcodes, custom HTML, and embed discovery into a single consistent API and user experience. Editor: We landed full-screen image preview on iOS too, and enabled the video block settings.
  • Full Site Editing: We made the Spacer block available to the public! The 1st iteration of the Gallery block is almost done and have made good progress on the Group and Button blocks.
  • Other Projects: Focused on crashing some bugs on Android and iOS, like this fix for fast-scrolling on the Posts List, and this fix for UIDocumentMenuViewController crash.
  • Infrastructure: Tooling improvements and wrangled the upgrade to Xcode 11.2.1.
