Highlights for the last two weeks:
- BlockBlock Block is the abstract term used to describe units of markup that, composed together, form the content or layout of a webpage using the WordPress editor. The idea combines concepts of what in the past may have achieved with shortcodes, custom HTML, and embed discovery into a single consistent API and user experience. Editor: We added alignment options in paragraphs, block and Pexels support on iOS, fullscreen image preview on Android, and made improvements to unsupported blocks.
- Full Site Editing: Spacer block is ready for shipping. Alignment options made available on Media & Text. Gallery, Group, and SPTs are in progress.
- Other Projects: Work on dark mode continues for Android. We’re making progress on the Media Editing and Post Logic Improvements projects.
- Infrastructure: Improvements to Sentry crash reporting.
