Design team update September 20th

Here is what has been happening in the design team over the past fortnight. Everyone has been busy focusing on 5.3. The latest release of GutenbergGutenberg The Gutenberg project is the new Editor Interface for WordPress. The editor improves the process and experience of creating new content, making writing rich content much simpler. It uses ‘blocks’ to add richness rather than shortcodes, custom HTML etc. https://wordpress.org/gutenberg/ sees a number of design improvements ready for that release.
