The team continues to also run triage sessions 17:30 UTC.

  • GutenbergGutenberg The Gutenberg project is the new Editor Interface for WordPress. The editor improves the process and experience of creating new content, making writing rich content much simpler. Some highlights from the last fortnight:

  • Accessibility walk through video for navigation blockBlock Block is the abstract term used to describe units of markup that, composed together, form the content or layout of a webpage using the WordPress editor. The idea combines concepts of what in the past may have achieved with shortcodes, custom HTML, and embed discovery into a single consistent API and user experience..
  • Open invitiation to become a researcher.
  • Test simple responsive controls.
  • There will be an AMA walkthrough of ‘Site building research‘ on Monday at 19:00 UTC in the #design Slack channel.
  • Design triage is focusing on Gutenberg for the entire month of March.
  • The ‘ui-feedback’ and ‘ux-feedback’ labels are now combined into one ‘needs-design-feedback’ label within TracTrac Trac is the place where contributors create issues for bugs or feature requests much like GitHub.https://core.trac.wordpress.org/.. Read the background post to this change.
