Highlights for the last two weeks:

  • GutenbergGutenberg The Gutenberg project is the new Editor Interface for WordPress. The editor improves the process and experience of creating new content, making writing rich content much simpler. It uses ‘blocks’ to add richness rather than shortcodes, custom HTML etc. mobile integration with the WordPress apps continues.
  • iOS: Add Giphy gifs directly from the media toolbar when editing a post.
  • iOS: Viewing a post with many images is now faster.
  • Android: Improvements to posts feed synchronization.
  • More helpful error messages will assist you when logging in to your self-hosted site.
