Highlights for the last two weeks:

  • GutenbergGutenberg The Gutenberg project is the new Editor Interface for WordPress. The editor improves the process and experience of creating new content, making writing rich content much simpler. It uses ‘blocks’ to add richness rather than shortcodes, custom HTML etc. mobile kicked off the integration with the main WordPress apps.
  • iOS: Want to copy the link to a comment? Long-press its timestamp label.
  • iOS: Want to know the word and character counts for posts? Check out the editor action sheet title.
  • Android: We cleaned out some code cobwebs to make everything faster and more reliable.
