Highlights for the last two weeks:

  • iOS: The XCode10/Swift 4.2 migrationMigration Moving the code, database and media files for a website site from one server to another. Most typically done when changing hosting companies. was completed.
  • iOS: The tyranny of the blank page is no more! We’ve added suggestions for next steps to every page without content.
  • iOS: When you write a new post, the app automatically saves drafts on your device, so none of your work is ever lost.
  • Android: We’ve restyled a few more screens to keep improving consistency across the app.
  • Mobile GutenbergGutenberg The Gutenberg project is the new Editor Interface for WordPress. The editor improves the process and experience of creating new content, making writing rich content much simpler. It uses ‘blocks’ to add richness rather than shortcodes, custom HTML etc. https://wordpress.org/gutenberg/: We upgraded to the latest ReactReact React is a JavaScript library that makes it easy to reason about, construct, and maintain stateless and stateful user interfaces. https://reactjs.org/. Native version (getting us closer to Gutenberg web’s setup). We are moving forward with the bottom fixed formatting toolbar and the writing flow (new blocks on “Return” key).
