We use our weekly slackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform [https://slack.com/](https://slack.com/). The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at [https://make.wordpress.org/chat/](https://make.wordpress.org/chat/) meeting to focus on updates to the tasks that currently exist in [Trello](https://trello.com/b/8UGHVBu8/wp-marketing). We meet in Slack every Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time as a catch up on our tasks. However, anyone can chat in our Slack channel about anything at any time. ## Highlights We are continuing to write case studies. There are a few that need approval and publishing so look for those next week on our [Marketing Blog](https://make.wordpress.org/marketing/). ## Last Week’s Stats Since a majority of our work manifests itself in blog posts on our blog, here’s how we’re doing. The top post last week was the [WordPress News Survey](https://make.wordpress.org/marketing/2018/07/17/take-the-2018-wordpress-news-survey/). We’ve analyzed the results and hope to publish that this week. Ping is used in computer science to illicit a response from a target server to test it’s connection. Ping is also a term used by Slack users to @ someone or send them a direct message (DM). Users might say something along the lines of “Ping me when the meeting starts.” either me (@gidgey on Slack) or [@mcdwayne](https://profiles.wordpress.org/mcdwayne/). We’ll set up a TrelloTrello Project management system using the concepts of boards and cards to organize tasks in a sane way. This is what the make.wordpress.com/marketing team uses for example: [https://trello.com/b/8UGHVBu8/wp-marketing.](https://trello.com/b/8UGHVBu8/wp-marketing) card and get to work.
