This version features bottom navigation on the Android app and several updates to make it work smoothly in ChromeOS.
We improved support for displaying GIF files across both platforms and we extracted some key components from the iOS application to make them reusable: WordPressAuthenticator-iOS, WordPressKit-iOS and WordPressUI-iOS.

The GutenbergGutenberg The Gutenberg project is the new Editor Interface for WordPress. The editor improves the process and experience of creating new content, making writing rich content much simpler. It uses ‘blocks’ to add richness rather than shortcodes, custom HTML etc. mobile team focused mainly on recently discovered compatibility issues, where the current editor, code name Aztec, was breaking posts created in Gutenberg.
