Our vision for the Marketing Team is to be the go-to resource on strategy and content for other WordPress teams — that means you.
Today’s Meeting
The Marketing team used the 2/28 slackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/. meeting to focused on updates to the tasks that exist in Trello currently.
It’s good to remember that everyone that contributes on this team are volunteers. We published two documents including SEO Standards for Internal WordPress sites and a Jargon Glossary for new folks. It’d be great to get some tweets of the glossary with #MakeWordPress. (Please & Thank You.)

Contributor Days
@bridgetwillard is reaching out to camps individually and keeping track on a Google Sheet. This week the Marketing Channel will be manned for Oslo and Antwerp.
Updating and Maintaining Showcase Page
@otto42 gave instructions to @bridgetwillard and she, @mcdwayne, @jenblogs4u, and @harryjackson1221 will be approving those posts for now. If you see a page on the showcase that is no longer using WordPress, let us know in Slack. @chanthaboune is working on some objective guidelines for us.
Reach out to Marketing
Feel free to reach out to me (@gidgey on slack) or @mcdwayne if you have a project for Marketing. We will set up a TrelloTrello Project management system using the concepts of boards and cards to organize tasks in a sane way. This is what the make.wordpress.com/marketing team uses for example: https://trello.com/b/8UGHVBu8/wp-marketing. card and rally our team in Slack.
