- We’ve been working behind the scenes to add a separate Media Library section to WordPress for iOSiOS The operating system used on iPhones and iPads., allowing you to manage your blog’s media outside of the post editor – just like in WordPress for Android. This feature is still in private betaBeta A pre-release of software that is given out to a large group of users to trial under real conditions. Beta versions have gone through alpha testing in-house and are generally fairly close in look, feel and function to the final product; however, design changes often occur as part of the process., but we hope to release it soon.
- The beta phase for both WordPress for iOS 7.5 and WordPress for Android 7.3 went OK. We’ve fixed a couple of minor bugs related to Media, and both apps will be released gradually to end users during the week.
