Your tl;dr takeaway here is that ~30% of plugins are approved within the week they’re submitted, and everyone else should check their email for a message from Plugins 🙂

The stats for rejected/close/approved don’t exist yet, however… Following a manual count, we have only rejected 17 plugins. Of the 17, 15 were duplicate submissions, one was spam ware, and one was an accidental submission. The approved number I’ve manually calculated by taking the total submissions and subtracting the number rejected and the number still in pending for this week.
That means about 30% of plugins are approved within a week of their submissions.

That pending number means that over 100 people have been emailed about their plugin status and have not (yet) replied with completed and corrected code. That number will likely only go up, as we don’t plan to reject anything for the 7-days without a reply anymore.
