Support Team Update for September 4th

This was a brief meetupMeetup All local/regional gatherings that are officially a part of the WordPress world but are not WordCamps are organized through https://www.meetup.com/. A meetup is typically a chance for local WordPress users to get together and share new ideas and seek help from one another. Searching for ‘WordPress’ on meetup.com will help you find options in your area. this week and there were 2 items discussed at this weeks #wordpress-sfd meetup:

WordPress 4.0 releaseRelease A release is the distribution of the final version of an application. A software release may be either public or private and generally constitutes the initial or new generation of a new or upgraded application. A release is preceded by the distribution of alpha and then beta versions of the software.

The meetup was just before 4.0 was released and the OMGWTFBBQ post was briefly discussed. Based on the draft when 4.0 was released I posted the new 4.0 master list. Not long after that Mika (correctly!) broke the posts into multiple posts as it was originally intended to via the template. 😉

The Troubleshooting Handbook

This was on the agenda but tabled due to the pending 4.0 release. The 3rd section still needs love and attention and if you have suggestions please reply to this post. I am sure some accommodation can be made.

The transcript of this meetup can be read at this link.
