The 3.9 guideline recommendations and requirements were discussed. Some of the key items being not allowing a redirection when a theme is approved and credit links. Any and all documentation should be in an included readme file; whether it be in markdown or text ( preferred ) format. We would also like to start recommending the integration of the theme customizerCustomizer Tool built into WordPress core that hooks into most modern themes. You can use it to preview and modify many of your site’s appearance settings. but so far no timeline has been talked about or specified.
