Contributor Days were held at WordCamps SF and Portland, and there’s one happening in Providence as I write this. The shift to having Contributor Days open to all parts of the project and not only coreCore Core is the set of software required to run WordPress. The Core Development Team builds WordPress. dev seems to be taking off, and we’d love to keep seeing lots of camps (a) having work days and (b) making them welcoming events for all kinds of contributors.

The WCSF Contrib Day also kicked off work on curriculum outlines and video interviews for the next set of training workshops, on theme development.

Summer internships (GOW and GSoC) have passed the midway point and all of our interns passed their midterm reviews. Congrats to them and thanks to all the mentors!
