Mobile Group Update for April 10, 2013


  • Android UIUI UI is an acronym for User Interface - the layout of the page the user interacts with. Think ‘how are they doing that’ and less about what they are doing. Update (v 2.3): now in BetaBeta A pre-release of software that is given out to a large group of users to trial under real conditions. Beta versions have gone through alpha testing in-house and are generally fairly close in look, feel and function to the final product; however, design changes often occur as part of the process. 2! Help us test it.
  • Windows Phone: the update is ready, working on announcements.
  • iOSiOS The operating system used on iPhones and iPads. NUX: further exploration around a welcome guide (walkthrough) and tooltips post-login/sign up. Read more and give feedback here.

What’s Next

  • Android UI Update (v 2.3): scheduled to be released and announced on Wednesday next week.
  • Windows Phone: the new update (v 2.1) should be announced before the end of the week.
  • iOS NUX: iterate based on feedback and improve the Sign Up form
  • iOS bug fixes: 3.5.3 is being mapped out and will include fixes for the “landscape only” bug and more.
