Mobile Group Update for March 27, 2013


  • iOSiOS The operating system used on iPhones and iPads. bug fix update 3.5.2 finally submitted this Monday, should make a lot of users happy. More info.
  • Android UIUI UI is an acronym for User Interface - the layout of the page the user interacts with. Think ‘how are they doing that’ and less about what they are doing. Update BetaBeta A pre-release of software that is given out to a large group of users to trial under real conditions. Beta versions have gone through alpha testing in-house and are generally fairly close in look, feel and function to the final product; however, design changes often occur as part of the process. still not ready but icons are finally in and we should be able to get it out in the next few days. This is the big one!
  • WindowsPhone Editor improvements and notifications update is progressing, should be ready by Friday this week.
  • iOS NUX iteration is progressing but still in the exploration phase. More details coming soon.

What’s Next

  • Test iOS 3.5.2 release up until release, keep fixing bugs
  • Android UI Update Beta this week
  • WindowsPhone Editor/notifications iteration to be wrapped up by EOW
  • iOS NUX discussions and designing UI/UXUX UX is an acronym for User Experience - the way the user uses the UI. Think ‘what they are doing’ and less about how they do it., start working on graphics and copy
