As far as runtime, I think 5 minutes is fine but really I guess it depends on the “guest” you have and the number of questions you want to ask. 4. I do think that you will want to keep the intro as short as possible though, so you can get into the “meat” of the interview, so consider (in your blog post) doing some of the introduction in text, so in the video you can jump into the questions more quickly. 5. * ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/48469f81d21307fe9f5cdbbd894dbd65869d62189ea910deb3202aed987efb07? s=32&d=mm&r=g) * [jwparky](https://profiles.wordpress.org/jwparky/) 8:19 pm _on_ May 27, 2016 * Thanks Jerry! * I appreciate the info. I am going to schedule a couple of interviews and try to get some thing recorded next week. ### Leave a Reply 󠀁[Cancel reply](https://make.wordpress.org/tv/2016/05/27/wordpress-tv-interviews/?output_format=md#respond)󠁿 You must be [logged in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fmake.wordpress.org%2Ftv%2F2016%2F05%2F27%2Fwordpress-tv-interviews%2F&locale=en_US) to post a comment. # Post navigation [← WPTV Blog video roundup topics](https://make.wordpress.org/tv/2016/05/26/wptv-blog-video-roundup-topics/) [WPTV Blog: Wrap up post for June 7 →](https://make.wordpress.org/tv/2016/06/01/wptv-blog-wrap-up-post-for-june-7/)
