Welcome to the official blog of the TV review team for WordPress.tv

We approve and publish all videos on WordPress.tv as well as help WordCamps with video post-production and captioning and subtitling of published videos.

Subtitles/captions — You can help us extend the reach of of WordPress.tv by adding captions or subtitles to any published video. Just find your favorite video, and follow the steps here to create a caption/translation file and submit for review.

Weekly meetings

We use Slack for real-time communication. As contributors live all over the world, there are discussions happening at all hours of the day. We have weekly team meetings every Thursday at 17:00 UTC, and they are open to the public!

I marked it like that because of the bounce in the video. It gets worst as the camera is moved around.
Other that that it is a nice video.

A meetup is typically a chance for local WordPress users to get together and share new ideas and seek help from one another. Searching for ‘WordPress’ on meetup.com will help you find options in your area. videos?

A meetup is typically a chance for local WordPress users to get together and share new ideas and seek help from one another. Searching for ‘WordPress’ on meetup.com will help you find options in your area. organizer, I lean toward yes. Meetups don’t have the resources that most WordCamps do and are likely less informed in good video practices and/or don’t have the tools to make the videos as good as they can. But, they still have good content to share and they’re trying. That said, we should try to make them as aware as possible of issues like this, but I think slightly relaxed rules in cases of good meetup content that we’d like to get out there is well warranted.

A meetup is typically a chance for local WordPress users to get together and share new ideas and seek help from one another. Searching for ‘WordPress’ on meetup.com will help you find options in your area. that needs it, I feel like we can defend a slightly lower standard for meetup videos. Also I think that sound quality is more important than picture quality, but that might be me.
