# Stepping back from moderating for the time being

Hi fellow mods! I have good news and bad news.

 * Good news is I landed a contract with a great client that starts YESTERDAY!
 * Bad news is that I will need to step back from being a mod until that contract
is up, which will be sometime in May.

Big thanks to [@andrewmorris](https://profiles.wordpress.org/andrewmorris/) for
stepping up to lead the IRC office hours and weekly updates on the [make:events P2](https://make.wordpress.org/events)

I will be able to check in from time to time to mod videos, help build docs, and
other things. I just won’t be your day-to-day guy for all things wp.tv

I wish you all the best and will see you again in May! Thanks for helping to make
WordPress.tv awesome!

 3. Thanks [@jerrysarcastic](https://profiles.wordpress.org/jerrysarcastic/) you have
been a great help and will be missed! I can only hope that I can live up to your
lead in my small and minor capacity until you’re valiant return!
