# @jerrysarcastic @andreamiddleton The 4 multipart videos from Phoenix…

[@jerrysarcastic](https://profiles.wordpress.org/jerrysarcastic/), [@andreamiddleton](https://profiles.wordpress.org/andreamiddleton/):
The 4 multipart videos from Phoenix 2011 are approx 90 mins long each (except for
last one). Its more like a workshop and too long. I don’t think we should publish
these types of videos in wptv. And its been a bit old now. What do you suggest?

      * I agree with you. The MultiSiteMultisite Multisite is a WordPress feature which
allows users to create a network of sites on a single WordPress installation.
Available since WordPress version 3.0, Multisite is a continuation of WPMU
or WordPress Multiuser project. WordPress MultiUser project was discontinued
and its features were included into WordPress core. [Advanced Administration Handbook -> Create A Network.](https://developer.wordpress.org/advanced-administration/multisite/create-network/)
videos are also nearly as long. I viewed one of it and although the workshop
was excellent its too old based on 3.0. Perhaps I should stop reviewing second
        of it for some time.

 7. I agree – being that old and so long, I don’t think it’s worth publishing at this
     point.

 10. Don’t we have a couple of the other WCPHX11 multi-part videos published already?
Do you think the workshop aspect makes it difficult for viewers to follow? I’m
not sure that “too long” is necessarily a blocker, since viewers can see how long
the video is and decide for themselves. Per being based on 3.0, that’s another
question… but since we don’t unpublish videos because they deal with older versions
of WP, I’m not sure we should refrain from publishing videos for that reason.
     🙂

      * I saw a little bit of one of the videos and there was silences in between and
I thought looking for a 5 hours video will be a torture. 😀 But thats just
        me..

      * I think long videos are OK to publish as well. As long as the content is good,
the speaker can be heard clearly, and especially if we have links to slides
and other materials, they should be on our site. Besides, the organizers invested
a lot of time in producing and uploading them. We should honor that time commitment
by publishing (unless quality is an issue)

      * About workshops, they are something that lots of WordCamps feature in their
schedules, so a matching categoryCategory The 'category' taxonomy lets you
group posts / content together that share a common bond. Categories are pre-
defined and broad ranging. or tag called “workshop” would be a good thing to
add to the videos as well.
      * Perhaps if we build a good library of workshop videos over time we can make
the argument for a page on the site called “WordCampWordCamp WordCamps are
casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything related to WordPress.
They're one of the places where the WordPress community comes together to teach
one another what they’ve learned throughout the year and share the joy. [Learn more](https://central.wordcamp.org/about/).
Workshops” which I think would be a cool resource. Tagging/categorizing this
content makes creating something like that a whole lot easier.
      * Workshops are a different kind of education, when compared to shorter presentations,
and one that usually appeals to new users instead of devs/power users. IMHO
they are something we should embrace and include (and potentially highlight)
        on our site.
