# 󠀁[WordPress Block Editor Basics in Bengali: Course Cohort Successfully Completed](https://make.wordpress.org/training/2026/01/07/wordpress-block-editor-basics-in-bengali-course-cohort-successfully-completed/)󠁿

We are delighted to announce the successful completion of the **“BlockBlock Block
is the abstract term used to describe units of markup that, composed together, form
the content or layout of a webpage using the WordPress editor. The idea combines
concepts of what in the past may have achieved with shortcodes, custom HTML, and
embed discovery into a single consistent API and user experience. Editor Basics”
Course Cohort in Bengali**, organized through Learn WordPress. This cohort marked
an important step toward making WordPress education more accessible for Bengali-
speaking learners and strengthening our local WordPress learning community.

The journey began with an overwhelming response from the community. **More than
30 participants** showed interest and enrolled in the cohort, reflecting a growing
curiosity and enthusiasm for learning modern WordPress tools, especially the Block
Editor. Participants joined with diverse backgrounds—some completely new to WordPress,
others looking to upgrade their skills from classic editing to block-based workflows.

As the cohort progressed, **over 20 participants continued actively through at least
half of the course**. Balancing learning with personal and professional commitments
is never easy, and we truly appreciate the dedication shown by everyone who stayed
engaged, attended sessions, and practiced along the way. Their consistency helped
create a collaborative and encouraging learning environment where questions, discussions,
and shared discoveries were always welcome.

We are especially proud to share that **more than 10 participants successfully completed
the entire course cohort** 🎉. Completing the full course required commitment, practice,
and a willingness to experiment—and these learners delivered on all fronts. By the
end of the cohort, participants were confidently working with the WordPress Block
Editor and applying what they learned in practical ways.

**Host:** Muhibul Haque [**@devmuhib**](https://profile.wordpress.org/devmuhib)

**Co‑host:** Noruzzaman [@noruzzaman](https://profiles.wordpress.org/noruzzaman/)

**Participants:** [@mdniajm](https://profiles.wordpress.org/mdniajm/), [@abduremon](https://profiles.wordpress.org/abduremon/),
[@mdfarokahmed](https://profiles.wordpress.org/mdfarokahmed/), [@mhasanmeet](https://profiles.wordpress.org/mhasanmeet/),
[@rizviahamed](https://profiles.wordpress.org/rizviahamed/), [@bmnazmul](https://profiles.wordpress.org/bmnazmul/),
[@raselsheikh](https://profiles.wordpress.org/raselsheikh/), [@huzaifaalmesbah](https://profiles.wordpress.org/huzaifaalmesbah/),
[@imrakibul](https://profiles.wordpress.org/imrakibul/), [@hossainmonir](https://profiles.wordpress.org/hossainmonir/)

Throughout the course, participants built **multiple layouts using the Block Editor**,
including structured pages and content sections using coreCore Core is the set of
software required to run WordPress. The Core Development Team builds WordPress.
blocks. They explored layout techniques, block customization, and best practices
for creating clean, flexible, and reusable designs. This hands-on approach helped
learners move beyond theory and gain real confidence in building content with blocks.

One of the most exciting outcomes of this cohort was the strong interest participants
expressed in **Block Theme Development**. Many learners are eager to go deeper—understanding
how block themes work, how patterns are created, and how full site editing can be
used to build modern WordPress websites. This curiosity shows how impactful beginner-
friendly education can be in guiding learners toward more advanced WordPress contribution
and development paths.

Encouraged by the success of this cohort and the enthusiasm from participants, we
are **planning more course cohorts in the future**. Our goal is to continue offering
structured, beginner-friendly, and community-driven learning experiences in Bengali,
covering both foundational and advanced WordPress topics.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and contributed to
this cohort. Your engagement made this learning journey meaningful and successful.
We look forward to learning together again in upcoming cohorts and continuing to
grow the Bengali WordPress community.

and feedback on how to enhance the Contributor Day experience and make it more
   impactful for contributors.
 * For each flagship event, the Training Team organizes an Online Contributor Day
alongside the in-person Contributor Day. The team is currently seeking a host
and a co-host for the upcoming Online Contributor Day. Interested contributors

Accessibility (commonly shortened to a11y) refers to the design of products,
devices, services, or environments for people with disabilities. The concept
of accessible design ensures both “direct access” (i.e. unassisted) and “indirect
access” meaning compatibility with a person’s assistive technology (for example,
computer screen readers). (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accessibility) of training

 * The Training Team is planning to organize upcoming workshops and is seeking community
input on topics that would be most valuable and relevant. Contributors are encouraged
to share areas they would like to learn more about so the workshops can be designed
