In order to publish a lesson, you need to ensure that you have the following in place:
The Lesson video has been transferred from WordPress.tv to the WordPress.org YouTube channel and is publicly available.
You have created the draft Lesson on Learn.WordPress.orgWordPress.orgThe community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/.
Once this is done, visit the YouTube channel, and copy the video URLURLA specific web address of a website or web page on the Internet, such as a website’s URL www.wordpress.org.
Open the draft lesson, and embed the YouTube video below the lesson title, but above the transcript.
Make sure to preview your lesson before you publish it, to check that everything appears as you expect it to.
If you’re publishing a translated lesson, please do not assign it to the English course. Either publish it as a standalone lesson, or create a new localized course to store this lesson.
Enable the Lesson for translation
Currently, training team translators can’t view course lesson content without being logged in and enrolled in the course. This means that if a lesson belongs to a course, and the course is not yet published, translators cannot view the lesson to translate it.

This option can be found by scrolling down to the bottom of the sidebar in the Lesson editor.
