Faculty Program Agreement

Members of the Faculty Program act as representatives of the WordPress open sourceOpen Source Open Source denotes software for which the original source code is made freely available and may be redistributed and modified. Open Source **must be** delivered via a licensing model, see GPL. project and guide community members in acting according to the project philosophies and program guidelines.

As a Faculty Program member, you agree to:

  • Perform the duties of a member for the good of the WordPress community, not for the benefit of any one person or business.
  • Fulfill the expectations for active Faculty members and your specific role(s).
  • Follow through on commitments made to the Training Team, or in the event that you are unable to fulfill this commitment, let another member know so that someone else can take over your responsibilities.
  • Be respectful of all community members and contributors, and use language in your communications that shows this respect.
  • Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere on the Training Team and in the WordPress project by not allowing discrimination or harassment to go unchallenged.
  • Respect the confidentiality of sensitive and/or personally identifiable information.
  • Respect and act in accordance with the WordPress trademark policy.
  • Confirm that you are not an employee of the WordPress Foundation, and are acting in a volunteer capacity with the project.
  • Respect the brand usage and promotional guidelines for all Learn WordPress content.
