    1. How should we track content that needs updating?
      • The team is creating more and more content! But this means there is more content that could have outdated information in it. We’re particularly interested in hearing your ideas regarding how we can best track courses and localized content for necessary updates. (Raise by @courane01 in Slack conversation)
    2. Shall we make linking Learn content back to GitHubGitHub GitHub is a website that offers online implementation of git repositories that can easily be shared, copied and modified by other developers. Public repositories are free to host, private repositories require a paid subscription. GitHub introduced the concept of the ‘pull request’ where code changes done in branches by contributors can be reviewed and discussed before being merged be the repository owner. https://github.com/ standard practice?
      • Learn has a feature for content creators to leave notes regarding their pieces of content. This has traditionally been used to leave a link back to the GitHub issue, but the practice does not seem to be adopted by all content creators. Shall we make it standard practice? (Raised by @bsanevans Slack conversation)
    3. We’re looking for AMER/EMEA meeting facilitators!
      • We’re looking for facilitators for the AMER/EMEA meetings. Let a team repTeam Rep A Team Rep is a person who represents the Make WordPress team to the rest of the project, make sure issues are raised and addressed as needed, and coordinates cross-team efforts. know if you’re interested.
      • Another option is, since team meetings are held async anyway, we host the meeting at an APAC time each week, and members in other time zones can contribute in their own time. Office Hours could still be used for the real-time connection.
    4. Shall we combine Coffee Hours and Office Hours and host these simultaneously as team meetings on alternating weeks?
      • Currently, the team hosts Coffee Hours and Office Hours separately to team meetings. These two are similar and can be confusing to new contributors. Shall we combine the two?
      • Proposal: One hour is booked each week for each timezone. These hours are used for either a team meeting or Coffee/Office Hour. This means one only needs to allocate one hour-long time slot each week to join the team gatherings, rather than two. This time slot does not change from week to week.

      • On January 23rd, the Training Team will be conducting two 2-hour exercises to discover our shared values. These exercises are open to anyone interested in participating, and will be recorded.
      • Please pingPing The act of sending a very small amount of data to an end point. Ping is used in computer science to illicit a response from a target server to test it’s connection. Ping is also a term used by Slack users to @ someone or send them a direct message (DM). Users might say something along the lines of “Ping me when the meeting starts.” @angelasjin or @bsanevans to receive a calendar invite to the event.

      2. Do we want to update our GitHubGitHub GitHub is a website that offers online implementation of git repositories that can easily be shared, copied and modified by other developers. Public repositories are free to host, private repositories require a paid subscription. GitHub introduced the concept of the ‘pull request’ where code changes done in branches by contributors can be reviewed and discussed before being merged be the repository owner. https://github.com/ views to match the kanban board columns?
