They're one of the places where the WordPress community comes together to teach one another what they’ve learned throughout the year and share the joy. Learn more. Europe 2026 Contributor DayContributor DayContributor Days are standalone days, frequently held before or after WordCamps but they can also happen at any time. They are events where people get together to work on various areas of https://make.wordpress.org/ There are many teams that people can participate in, each with a different focus. https://make.wordpress.org/support/handbook/getting-started/getting-started-at-a-contributor-day/ took place on Thursday, June 4th, in Kraków, Poland, a city renowned for its rich history and beauty. The Training Team joined many of the other Make Teams in a beautiful conference hall of the ICE Kraków Congress Centre, where nearly 800 attendees took part in the Contributor Day’s activities.
This year, we had 6 in-person contributors and 7 online contributors, for a total of 13 contributors to the Training Team on Contributor Day!

Our in-person table leads, @digitalchild and @nikola93n, did their best to share the Training Team’s goals and projects with all interested parties who joined our table at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre. They shared knowledge about many interesting topics:
how to start contributing,
what the Training Team handbook is and how to use it,
how to help other Training Team members in finding the obsolete content, and making sure that all the content is up-to-date…
