Meeting Note Takers

Looking for feedback

To become a note taker, we propose a rule that requires participation in the Training Team Guide Program. This will ensure proper guidance for note takers and help reduce errors when publishing meeting notes. Additionally, we suggest setting the following limits:

  • You may apply as a note taker only once a month.
  • You can serve as a note taker a maximum of five times.

This will ensure new contributors to participate and experienced contributors to focus on other form of contributions like translation, providing feedback and content creation. What are your thoughts on this proposal?

  • We will mark content translation issues created six months ago as “unplanned.” These issues will be closed, but if you’re still interested in working on them, you can reopen the issue and continue from where you left off.

Looking for volunteers

  • We’ve made significant progress on the thumbnail generator project, with most thumbnails successfully updated. However, a few content thumbnails still use outdated designs or don’t comply with our thumbnail generator guidelines. If you’re interested in volunteering for this task, simply leave a comment, and we’ll provide the necessary instructions to get started.

Update for last weeks triage squad

  • No meeting last week.

Other news

  • No other news this week, if you have any please reply in this.

Come and Contribute

We have various ways that you can contribute to the Training team. Including development, content creation, editing and more. We have various open issues available for you to get started.

Content ready for review

Feedback awaiting validation

Topics awaiting vetting

  • See Vetting Topic Ideas for step-by-step guidance on vetting topic ideas.
  • We have 3 issues that require vetting

Validated feedback awaiting fix

On top of this, I have been going through our helpscout queue on a weekly basis and addressing all content reports that can be addressed immediately, this has kept our awaiting fix queue at bay. We have had multiple reports over the last 8 months of courses being out of order. I have now adjusted three pathways to fix this. So if you notice they are out of order again, please let us know.

  • @zeelthakkar I am one of the organizers of WP AccessibilityAccessibility Accessibility (commonly shortened to a11y) refers to the design of products, devices, services, or environments for people with disabilities. The concept of accessible design ensures both “direct access” (i.e. unassisted) and “indirect access” meaning compatibility with a person’s assistive technology (for example, computer screen readers). (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accessibility) Day 2025 event. We’re expanding to include more languages, such as French and Italian! Your skills can help make accessibility knowledge available to more people around the world.
