Meeting Note Takers
Looking for feedback
- The WordPress Training Team regularly hosts a coffee hour on Saturdays at 15:00 UTC. To ensure maximum participation, we’re exploring alternative times. What time would work best for you to join?
Looking for volunteers
- If you’re eager to contribute right away and already familiar with the WordPress Training Team, consider starting with content translation. Translating content helps make resources accessible in local languages, increasing their reach and acceptance among local communities.
- Hosting online workshops are another way to contribute. This could be hosting a coffee hour, a study hour or even using one of our many available lessons to do an online workshop. This is a great way to get some experience speaking.
Update for last weeks triage squad
- Triage squad is still on hold at this time.
Other news
- No other news this week, if you have any please reply in this.
Come and Contribute
We have various ways that you can contribute to the Training team. Including development, content creation, editing and more. We have various open issues available for you to get started.
Content ready for review
Feedback awaiting validation
Topics awaiting vetting
- See Vetting Topic Ideas for step-by-step guidance on vetting topic ideas.
- We have 2 issues that require vetting
Validated feedback awaiting fix
On top of this, I have been going through our helpscout queue on a weekly basis and addressing all content reports that can be addressed immediately, this has kept our awaiting fix queue at bay. We have had multiple reports over the last 8 months of courses being out of order. I have now adjusted three pathways to fix this. So if you notice they are out of order again, please let us know.

- Do you have any blockers?
- Can other contributors or Training Team members help you in some way?
Open Discussions
If you have topics you’d like discussed in the meeting, please leave them as a comment on this issue.
- @mosescursor My Visa for Switzerland was denied. So this means I will not be able to attend WCUE25. Sorry for the inconvenience but I will not be able to be on the contribution table as earlier communicated.
- @rjekic This is really bad news. Have you tried reaching out to someone from the Community or Organizing team? Maybe they can help you in some way.
- @mosescursor Yes they have been helping but it requires appeal in a Schengen language and it takes about a month which we don’t have Plus CHF200 Appeal fee.
- @rjekic I’m truly sorry, my friend.
- @mosescursor I am healing, it will be well
Looks like we don’t have anything at the moment. If anyone has anything async. Please reply in this thread and we can keep the discussion going.
And that concludes this week’s meeting. Thanks to all who participated in sync and to those that will in the future.
You can see all meetings scheduled on this meeting calendar. If you are new to the Training Team, then come walk through our onboarding program to get to know the team and how we work. And if you have questions, feel free to reach out in the #training Slack channel at any time.
