Looking for feedback
- Learn WordPress is a contributor-focused platform where various contributors create and share content. Often, contributors host their materials, such as slides or presentations, on personal platforms like Dropbox or Google Drive. This can sometimes lead to challenges when there are errors in the shared content, as the Training Team may not have access to make corrections or updates. We want to hear your feedback on this.
Looking for volunteers
- The flagship WordCamp WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything related to WordPress. They're one of the places where the WordPress community comes together to teach one another what they’ve learned throughout the year and share the joy. Learn more. Asia (WC Asia) will take place from February 20-22, 2025, in Manila, Philippines. On the same day as Contributor Day Contributor Days are standalone days, frequently held before or after WordCamps but they can also happen at any time. They are events where people get together to work on various areas of https://make.wordpress.org/ There are many teams that people can participate in, each with a different focus. https://2017.us.wordcamp.org/contributor-day/ https://make.wordpress.org/support/handbook/getting-started/getting-started-at-a-contributor-day/., we’ll be hosting an online event. If you’re interested in hosting this online session, please leave a comment! This will be a general event focused on discussing Training Team activities.
- At Learn WordPress, we develop a variety of educational content to support the WordPress community. Our current focus is on creating localized content to make learning more accessible and relevant. If you have experience translating content, this is a great way to contribute.
- We’re looking for editors to assist with github GitHub is a website that offers online implementation of git repositories that can easily be shared, copied and modified by other developers. Public repositories are free to host, private repositories require a paid subscription. GitHub introduced the concept of the ‘pull request’ where code changes done in branches by contributors can be reviewed and discussed before being merged be the repository owner. https://github.com/ issue content updates. The ideal candidates will have had experience writing meeting notes as well as using Sensei LMS. Reply in this thread if you’d like to help out. If you have experience with Training Team activities and have been active within the team for the past six months, we encourage you to apply for the editor role. If you’re confident in your skills, don’t forget to submit your application!
