# Training Team 2023 Goals Setting

Now that the Training Team has come together and created our [Team Values](https://make.wordpress.org/training/handbook/about/team-values/),
we are ready to move on to create our 2023 Goals together through synchronous and
asynchronous communications.

Our first synchronous session will occur on February 10th at 04:00 UTC, and then
we will share the video and outcomes from that synchronous session in this post
for asynchronous conversation.

Our second synchronous session will occur on Friday, February 17 during WordCampWordCamp
WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything related
to WordPress. They're one of the places where the WordPress community comes together
to teach one another what they’ve learned throughout the year and share the joy.

to work on various areas of [https://make.wordpress.org/](https://make.wordpress.org/)
There are many teams that people can participate in, each with a different focus.

 14. I’m just noting, due to unforeseen circumstances after WordCampWordCamp WordCamps

 17. I’d like to prioritize some website functionality. Often we hear from meetupMeetup
All local/regional gatherings that are officially a part of the WordPress world
but are not WordCamps are organized through [https://www.meetup.com/](https://www.meetup.com/).
A meetup is typically a chance for local WordPress users to get together and share
new ideas and seek help from one another. Searching for ‘WordPress’ on meetup.
com will help you find options in your area. organizers that they love the lesson
plans, however navigating around to find them is not ideal.
