This is a similar goal to #docs. Of course, we know getting everything out at launch is still a stretch goal, or even lofty dream. But when picking what to work on next, if possible, picking something that we could have ready at launch would be a fantastic priority.If you’ve picked something up but know you reasonably won’t have it in near the end of next week, consider opening it up for others that might have capacity to do so

If anyone needs a site that won’t expire in 4hrs, pingPingThe act of sending a very small amount of data to an end point. Ping is used in computer science to illicit a response from a target server to test it’s connection. Ping is also a term used by Slack users to @ someone or send them a direct message (DM). Users might say something along the lines of “Ping me when the meeting starts.” me and I can help get you one that will last up to 14days
@Destiny has been doing a phenomenal job reaching out to folks that have recently joined the channel, reviewing if they’ve filled out the initial get started forms, and also outreach to the faculty members.

If you are not attending WCEU, there are still good ways/reasons to get involved.
Contributor days in person are a time for folks to meet all the teams. There’s an opening session and then tables usually in a large conference area. People can break off to different teams to meet and greet.
As a team, we usually plan for the international camps together, and one person might take on the role of any comms with the organizers. Other times the coordinators are for more local camps. One person on the team that might prep the post on Training’s site welcoming folks for smaller city-level camps.
You are welcome to join the team at any time! If you are new to the Training Team, please introduce yourself in the #training channel before the meeting (or anytime!) and feel free to join us in the meeting and participate as you are able.
