Dev-squad GitHubGitHub GitHub is a website that offers online implementation of git repositories that can easily be shared, copied and modified by other developers. Public repositories are free to host, private repositories require a paid subscription. GitHub introduced the concept of the ‘pull request’ where code changes done in branches by contributors can be reviewed and discussed before being merged be the repository owner. https://github.com/ triage: Biweekly on Thursdays 07:00 UTC

Lesson Plan Updates
@jenwill has continued working on enqueuing scripts and styles. my rough draft is maybe halfway through and it’s already really long. Requests feedback. (https://make.wordpress.org/training/?post_type=handbook&p=8646&preview=true)

Suggestions were made regarding adding WP-CLIWP-CLI WP-CLI is the Command Line Interface for WordPress, used to do administrative and development tasks in a programmatic way. The project page is http://wp-cli.org/ https://make.wordpress.org/cli/ to lesson plan, probably as multiple plans. @pbarthmaier asked if it should be part of a previously-suggested developer track.

Copyediting Updates
@mike_piercy: I wasn’t here last week but have made it through roughly half of the grammar edits while checking the inconsistencies in the nav links.

Testing Updates
@melindahelt is planning to use training materials for a full-day workshop at WCKent.

Q&A and Announcements

1. I have heard from a few folks who are interested in helping me lead meetings, take notes, keep everything organized and on track, etc. I want to leave the conversation about that open for another week or two to make sure folks have the ability to pipe up if they’d like to. Please DM me if you’d like.

2. Proposal a mini summit since none of us will be at WCEU Community Summit. We can talk about it again next week.
