Dev-squad GitHubGitHub GitHub is a website that offers online implementation of git repositories that can easily be shared, copied and modified by other developers. Public repositories are free to host, private repositories require a paid subscription. GitHub introduced the concept of the ‘pull request’ where code changes done in branches by contributors can be reviewed and discussed before being merged be the repository owner. https://github.com/ triage: Thursdays 07:00 UTC

Lesson Plan Updates

@jenwill and @pbarthmaier are still woking on Enqueuing Scripts and Styles.

@donkiely is almost done with Child Themes (twenty sixteen) but it’s mostly ready for critique. He wants to go through it a few more times and explain some things more clearly. He thanks @melindahelt, saying she was helpful in most of the heavy lifting.

He’s using Twenty Sixteen because that’s what the current plan is using but will make it easy to update to Twenty Seventeen. It was in Twenty Sixteen because that was the latest theme when @melindahelt did the first version.

The lost images issue has not yet been resolved.

@donkiely will clean up the shortcake and HTMLHTML HTML is an acronym for Hyper Text Markup Language. It is a markup language that is used in the development of web pages and websites. tags in the Style Guide since the page doesn’t show the tags, just their effect.
