Dev-squad GitHubGitHub GitHub is a website that offers online implementation of git repositories that can easily be shared, copied and modified by other developers. Public repositories are free to host, private repositories require a paid subscription. Can I add a thing to the agenda?
We need someone to craft / modify the welcome message we were sending out before WordCampWordCamp WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything related to WordPress. They're one of the places where the WordPress community comes together to teach one another what they’ve learned throughout the year and share the joy. Learn more. US this year. The current version we are using doesn’t reflect our current direction.

  YES! I wrote something this past week and sent it over to someone who was new to our meeting two weeks ago for her feedback. What I wrote is in the welcome message google doc (https://docs.google.com/document/d/121rT7KyJqXM4ZJ0siULLDX8sH4GjNKF620FKR46btzY/edit?usp=sharing) under the headerHeader The header of your site is typically the first thing people will experience. The masthead or header art located across the top of your page is part of the look and feel of your website. It can influence a visitor’s opinion about your content and you/ your organization’s brand. It may also look different on different screen sizes. “possible new language.” I was trying to make the whole thing shorter and less intimidating, while being more explanatory about what the team is/does, what we’re doing right now, and what we need help with right now. My thinking is that the current activities/needs could be easily swapped out in the future as those priorities change.
