Theme Review Day – The theme review team is planning for an online contributors day

As we all know that, WC Asia 2020 is canceled due to fear of the spread of the disease caused by the new coronavirus COVID-19. 

Contributors’ day for the WC Asia 2020 was scheduled for Friday, February 21. The theme review team did lots of preparation to make it awesome. Unfortunately, we are not able to apply those ideas this time.

The theme review team is planning for an online contributors day for themes on the same day. In the online presence of Moderators and Reps, reviewers from all around the globe can join the theme review channel on SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/. and start contributing.

WordCamp Asia 2020 – Get ready to contribute to the theme review

The first-ever Asian regional WordCampWordCamp WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything related to WordPress. They're one of the places where the WordPress community comes together to teach one another what they’ve learned throughout the year and share the joy. Learn more. is going to be held from February 21 to February 23 in Bangkok Thailand. As usual, the first day of the WordCamp will be the contributors day and the rest of the two days will be the session days.

Along with other contributors group, the Theme Review Team will also be there and contribute to the theme review process and discuss the theme standards and guidelines as well. You can meet our representative Ganga Kafle(@kafleg) and can learn more about those topics.

Make sure you have the following things before entering the theme review team table:

  • Laptop and Adapter
  • Local Server(XAMPP/WAMPP) Installed
  • Code Editor like Sublime/Notepad
  • WordPress Installed

We can start reviewing WordPress theme now. 🙂
