2. Theme Handbook Overhaul Proposal

Last week @greenshady wrote a post on the make themes blog about the theme handbook overhaul proposal. He wanted to discuss the proposed outline and get feedback from theme authors and users.

Join the themes team meeting and discuss and share your view as well.

3. Review Theme Check plugin PRs

We are looking for help testing the Theme Check plugin PRs. Check those PRs and comment findings. It will help us to maintain the plugin regularly.

2. Update themeunittestdata.wordpress.xml with WP 6.1 block markup

We are looking for help to test the theme unit test data. You can find the instruction on how to test it on GitHub. Or you can follow these steps,

  1. Download the file
  2. Activate the WordPress Importer tool (Go to Tools > Import > WordPress)
  3. Import the file, check the box for downloading the media
  4. Test all posts, pages, and archives. Both the old and the new content should load correctly.

WordCamp Asia 2023 Contributor Day occurred on 17th February in Bangkok, Thailand. @bijayyadav and @sanjiv-saha were the table lead for the themes team. We would like to listen from them about the experience they have. Their experience will help us to make the upcoming Contributor Day even better.
