Weekly updates** The themes team published weekly updates about tickets and HelpScout emails. Here is the theme statistic for the past 7 days. Thank you [@utz119](https://profiles.wordpress.org/utz119/) and [@poena](https://profiles.wordpress.org/poena/) for your help. Currently, there are [5 open issues](https://github.com/WordPress/Documentation-Issue-Tracker/labels/themes) in the themes label. You can help with this as well. Thank you, [@nielslange](https://profiles.wordpress.org/nielslange/) and [@poena](https://profiles.wordpress.org/poena/), for going over the handbook. ### 3. **Open Floor** [@shivashankerbhatta](https://profiles.wordpress.org/shivashankerbhatta/) talked about rules for the designing FSEFSE Short for Full Site Editing, a project for the Gutenberg plugin and the editor where a full page layout is created using only blocks.(block theme) theme. He asked, “Could any of the theme authors redesign the FSE version of their older theme?” His concern was, block themes are more in the design. So, how we can compare the design of the themes that are submitted to the repository? He said, “We should think more seriously about the FSE themes. Some people did and will do similar designs with different codes and we just left it by mentioning the original author’s credits. Basically, we had not much talked about the appearance.” Also, he asked, “Do you have any idea to build/introduce the option to switch between classic and FSE? Is there any rule to stop this kind of option?” [@kafleg](https://profiles.wordpress.org/kafleg/) request him to develop the theme based on it and wants to see how it is implemented.
